Fast-track tiling installation at ballito junction regional mall

When the Ballito Junction Regional Mall underwent a massive development from 10 000m2 to 80 000m2, TAL was chosen to supply tiling materials to ensure a successful installation for the expanded shopping centre. The multi-level tiling system took into account the heavy volume of foot traffic expected in one of the largest malls in the KZN coastal region. Preparation was key, which is why a primer slurry coat of TAL Keymix and TAL Keycoat was applied to the substrate. TAL Goldstar 6 rapid-setting tile adhesive was used as this product allowed for a faster turnaround on site and ensured that the original section of the mall continued trading during the expansion.
