Tal plays key role in tile installation at Krugersdorp hospital
Netcare Pinehaven Hospital in Krugersdorp features 10 000 m2 of precision tiling, installed successfully using tile and construction adhesives from TAL.
The hospital features a large number of small, isolated bathrooms with drywall. The installation of glass tiles onto drywalls is prone to cracking and requires careful priming and waterproofing. Architect VDO Consulting requested TAL to complete a specification for the project.
TAL also provided the necessary training to JonRoux Tiling and Plastering Contractors, a TAL-registered tiler.
TAL products used were TAL Bond, TAL Keycoat, TAL Goldstar 6, TAL Goldstar 12, TAL Wall and Floor Grout, TAL Sealmaster 1000, TAL Floor Primer and TAL Fine Epoxy Grout.
